To reduce risk of 'spontaneous breakage' the tempered glass product is heated up to 290°C for a minimum period of 2 hours, depending on the standard tested. The Cooltemper Heat Soak Oven provides a stable and constant temperature level and rapid heating and cooling capability.

The stress level of glass is only reduced by a minimal amount after heat soaking. Cooltemper provides various loading and design options to suit your needs, and we can even offer the option of dual purpose Heat Soaking / EVA lamination from the same oven.
